The bard change was really stupid, I agree. Despite that, this patch is a huge improvement for DAoC overall as a game.

It is a lot to digest as a hib.


The bard nerf turned me off as well.

as I said before, there have just recently been feedback requests for certain classes. I don't know if the KoTR program or TL programs exist or not, but I'm pretty sure these guys are working with the devs on class balance issues. And since the threads started only recently, there hasn`t been enough time to compile all the results and work out some of the issues. In other words, there should be more class balance changes to come with the 10 year anniversary, or maybe a little while after.

Considering they have listened to some of the most talked about issues among the player base, such as buff bots, UI improvements etc., and then saved it all up for one big 10 year anniversary patch, then I don't think they will be ignoring all the complaints about class balance.

I'm not saying Mythic is going to go and fix a whole bunch of classes without causing other balance issues, and still leaving certain classes with no love at all. Just saying I'm sure there will be more class balance changes to come. So hopefully when they do, they will unnerf the Bard. I guess their concern is having a group with 4 naturalists and a Mentalist. Honestly I just don`t see this as a problem, not like you can heal and dps/interrupt at the same time.

I am not a big fan of the nerf to Bards either. Bard's in a small man are great as they are. When playing Warden, I think they last thing the group wants me doing is healing. I've actually been yelled out for tossing out heals in critical situations.

For those making negative comments about Enchanters, you obviously haven't a clue. Play one then tell me all about it. The pets are still week compared to our counter parts.

- We have a pet that duel wields and on rare occassion toss out a garrote (Friend).
- We have a pet that casts a dd and a dd/snare. But somehow, someone forgot that casting a dd after a dd/snare breaks the snare (Companion).
- A pet that heals, but rarely will save you from anything (Ally).
- A caster pet that yes, can cast a dot that interrupts every tick. The one pet that is worth something (Zealot).
- Tank pet that basically hits just a tad harder than the healing pet (Compatriot)

Our counterpart pets:
- Spirit Master. Intercepts melee, can stun target with no stun immunity. Spiritmaster can also charm lvl 50 that can be ML9'd.
- BD pets. Multiple arrow pets. Crazy healing pets. Casting pets that disease. Pet that can slam with shield, why didn't they get the shield nerf like all other tanks got.
- Cabby - Pet that lifetaps, Pet that can chain stun, Pet that diseases.
- Hunter pet - Non-stop garrote and diseasing.

The baseline root will not be OP'd on the Enchanter. And to the person who was complaining about getting rooted after purging stun. Doesn't that also apply to any caster that has two forms of CC? Like a large number of casters in the game. With a few tweeks to the Enchanter pets and moving the Damage Add in Enchantments to baseline would pretty much finish off changes needed for the Enchanter.

Enchanter RR5 is completely useless. It is negated by a single druid buff on the pet. The RR5 needs to be completely tossed out.

Hib had only one caster that had baseline dex and str debuff. This change has been needed for a long time.

Looks nice at first glance.. Finally fixing my fletcher, maybe i can sell some bows again. Hib I think needed a rooting caster, but both root and stun in baseline on same toon is gonna be a lil OP.

dont think thats gonna make Enchanters OP, but it might help them to fit into groups, at least a little easier than before.

Ok i see, Bainshee exchange.. my mistake,

Bard nerv sucks, Minstel has how many ... 4 instan´s for rupt with 20 sec timer and a what the fuck !red pet!
Remove heal ok but then incrase the Mezz range up to 1875!

Ench pet dot -> Timed!!, Gb pet blocks all time patch it -> GB new RR5 = 30 sec Pet block for 75%! and don´t tell something about useless RR5 Hib has enough of it.
BD pets can no longer "no commander assist" wohoo tha´s not a nerv ... ok a small ... 4 Moving pets .. which assist a caster or drui = dead so more stupid then beforem, apart from this
every lamer Mid group is running in a BD group with 2 - 3 bers ... ml 10, vend .... oh and drui has 4 pets on his as .. lol !
