housing items can be put in vaults, picked up by alt and sold at full purchase price back to the npc.. so actualy, you can trade plate via the house vaults... in a round about way.

I thought it was 75% of the value back, but I could be wrong.
I suggest you test this before buying 100 plat of housing stuff.

Bring back old relic keeps. The new ones are boring and no fun at all.
Ability to buy items from housing from every server without porting.
Otherwise the ability to only show items on the server you are on (nice for buying potions).

Housing deeds wouldn't go onto consignment merch or into house vault. Tested this afternoon.

Exactly.
If your alt sells the housing items to a normal NPC merchant then there is a loss but if the alt sells the housing items back to the same housing window that the items were purchased from, the items sell for 100% of the purchase price.
