Maybe they have more QUI than you do?
Ive always templated 101Qui for this simple reason. Amazing how so few realize how much it affects your speed.

Dude while you are in the BGs or NF your travel speed is slower than it is in a PvE area.
When you are in combat your travel speed is slower also. This has always been.

RUN SPEED CHANGE
Since Dark Age of Camelot's launch, we have heard continuous feedback from our community about the movement speed in our game. The concerns over how slow our movement is has continued to grow as we have added more and more areas in which to travel. Because we believe these concerns are valid, we have decided to make a long requested change to the game, enhancing the movement speed of all players who are out of combat. This new run state allows the player to move faster than normal run speed, provided that the player is not in any form of combat. Along with this change, we have slightly increased the speed of all secondary speed buffs (see below for details). Both of these changes are noticeable but will not impinge upon the supremacy of the primary speed buffs available to the Bard, Skald and Minstrel.
Someone just got seriously bitch slapped .
Also to add to this thread, we had a member in NF that couldn't run as fast as everyone else. It still seems to be an issue as of last night.

It's a long shot, but is there any correlation to the performance of the computer and running faster/slower? The reason I ask is my wife's toon was the one outrunning my toon and our bot on Pendragon, and that laptop is by far the slowest machine we play on. The system I use regularly is quite zippy but I seemed to be running the slowest in RvR lately. Could be complete coincidence, though.

In my and my buddy's case not. We both have pretty good machines AND we have had no problems before the patch. Now I am running a bit faster on my char(and my BB).
But yes, if your game has bad FPS and/or is set to /clientsleep background while sticking (dual logging on 1 machine), then you will get sticklosses.
But those slower/faster running is here since the patch and many ppl complain on it ingame because they can't catch up.
A fast fix is really needed

Having same issues on every character I play.
This problem began with the new patches.
All characters are moving MUCH slower than everyone else, even with speed and sprint.
Play on Hibernia.
My pc specs are the following:
3.3mhz i5 Quad Sandybridge
8GB DDR1600mhz cas 7
SLI 1GB nvidia 460 graphics cards (plural)
Raid 0 90gb HD setup, boots within 13seconds
Its not my pc lagging, I assure you, Id rather say the game is over correcting for a faster pc would sound more in line.

It's happening to me, too. Quite annoying, especially in pvp.

Same issue here on all my toons. This is getting really annoying for both myself and other people in the group that constantly have to loop for me.
Not at all surprised that they broke something. This seems to be the general consensus over the past 10 years. They fix 2 bugs and create 3 new ones.
