Who's talking about tank groups? My standard groups require 2 frontline tanks. Or maybe 1 tank+first of 2 bards nowadays. In fact, tanks in hybrid groups have a lot more to deal with than tank groups, because it's so easy to target 2 tanks from the get-go and put all debuffs, with 25% duration, and only low RUT in a matter of seconds.

Orrime and I did a series of tests in november. We've not published yet, our logs are 2x9mn sessions with a fully realm-buffed RR11 BM(409str, 270qui, red haste, BOI+conflag/ 10-10-10, 50+21CD, 60ish level in weaponline) hitting on a earth theurgist(capped resists, CTR, PD1). When Orrime says that CTR wasn't taken into account it's only from the BM-side: physical attacks are shown "CTR-less" to the attacker, but "CTR-with" to the target contrary to magic attacks logs. Essence resist(for procs), considered to be 25%, as is standard in group combat so i multiplied all proc damage by 0.75, and all procs+BM physical damage multiplied by 0.95. DA being unaffected by either resists or CTR.

We simulated what a hybrid group BM has to endure against a standard alb/mid group nowadays, hence the 270qui, to get the equivalent of a high-level d/q debuff (which is roughly 80~85 same as realm d/q buff). Armor of the theurgist got repaired after each 2*9mn session, he had 621AF, 26%+3% slash resist(avalonian)+PD1. After the first ones it was usually 97% condition. After the latest sessions, it lowered to 99% only at the very end (like 15mn on or so).

DPS figures, including procs:

standard, CL DA(only 1 session): 135 DPS
same, 10.0dps DA: 152 DPS
red haste debuff, CL DA: 102DPS
red haste debuff, 10.0dps DA: 114 DPS
haste+qui debuffs, CL DA: 87DPS

10.0dps tests were there to show how much hib tanks lose, compared to others realm's tanks.

I haven't published anything yet, lack of time first and foremost, and also i'd like a standard pbt-less session test, and another 9mn with standard+CL DA conditions(we lost one of the 2 series) to show how much tanks in general, BMs in particular lose: in fact when you miss your MH(pbt or else), the OH doesn't benefit from any style bonus, thus missing more often.

I had no MoP. It is very easy to calculate the average damage increase from MoP so there was no reason to add it in our testing session.

Just for lulz, the difference with MoP9 and without it is comparable to the difference between our test with CL DA and our test with enchanter DA. Yes, this realm ability is much overrated when it comes to DPS (and DAs are very underrated).

How many swings in each test?

18 minutes of swinging, with slightly less than one swing per 3 seconds in the worst case scenario, makes it about 330-350 swings I'd say. Way enough to find out the trends.
