I don't find it fair to keep the backload dps of arb while having a pet that follows u around and chain snares any tank on u....
The pet currently doesn't snare often and you still have the delay of the bomber reaching its targets.

Can the verdant control pbae while it moves? That could be awesome~
it is great for PvE but for RvR probably not as great as it sounds. The problems are many, first, its just 265 damage. Second, when you tell the pet to attack a target it does so from melee range about 200+ units away where there is significant fall off damage. Third when it is combat mode with a target it only casts after it melee's which is about every 3 seconds, and it doesn't matter if you chain cast that pbae spell like 25 times, its only gonna cast about 10 of them in nearly 30 seconds, so its not a lot of DPS.
It doesn't take a genius however, to see how these shrooms could be useful in keep/tower situations, especially those involving a lord room. Should be interesting to see how it plays out, but how many Animists right now or going to spec Verdant for the tiniest chance at their moment of glory when they are needed to send their pbae'ing pet into a lord room?
I think it has potential for great comedic value though, I long to see the day when 6 or 7 animist shrooms reign supreme over 150 albs. Wrath of the Giant Walking Mushrooms. Would be a good guild name if it wasn't too long.
I hope someone at least gets the balls to try and run a Verdant bomb spec group.

If I can get a pet that walks and does AOE damage for a verdant animist I will come back and play just for that. It better do some awesome damage though. The verdant animist is fun to play in pve.

the best part of verdant is obviously the pets gpbt and spammable non-immunity bladeturns for hib caster groups

Hey my fellow animists and guyz, I just wanted to know how you feel about those new moving shrooms we are getting and wanted to share some thoughts with you all.
We animists all have wanted our controllable to be able to move for years now, but of course when asking for it we were expecting to use especially the controllable from creeping base line, as we all know it's the best choice for a controllable with it's snaring ability, and that's the one we all use in fight.
Now we are getting new controllable shrooms that move and that's great, but curiously they've been made specialization line spells, so we can't use those new shrooms and especially that new creeping shroom cause we should spec for it, and of course no one is going to drop bombers and spec 40 creeping, so this shroom will remain unused, and so is the verdant tank shroom, as obviously no one is going to spec verdant in RvR neither.
So here's my wish to mythic: please keep those 3 new controllable moving shrooms base line spells instead of spec line spells, so that we have the choice of what shroom we use depending on the situation, as we could untill now.
enchanters can choose between a healer a tank or a caster pet. That would seem logical we have the choice between our pets too.
please comment !
Bad Idea.
1) it will get nerfed
2) the comparison with enchanters is bad. Even a juggied/ml9 enchanter pet hits for less dps than an anamist pet can dish out.
3) we don't need any more fotm hibs

If that's a solid idea, my idea is to let us charm pets from Passage of Conflict and bring them to NF as pets.

The last thing this game needs is a Hib version of a bd.

...furthermore atm, that new mobile pet from creeping is snaring like 1 in 10 casts, and snares only for 20%, half what the static pet does. So even if we do get that pet a baseline spell, it will probably won't be used by animists neither, cause it's nothing like the static one that snares 40% every cast.
By the same token, if they give the mobile pet all the advantages of the turret, why would you ever cast the turret again? They might aswell make all the control pets we have now movable. The problem isn't that arb anis don't have access to a mobile version of their snare pet in creeping with all the perks, but rather that A: the mobile arb version doesn't match up to it's creeping counterpart and B: creep & verd spec don't even come close to being up to par with arb for RvR. I would rather see those points addressed in future rather than giving arb something it probably shouldn't have.
