EA needs to find out from who bought these time cards, where they got them from, and then the FBI needs to make a visit to this person's house by finding his PayPal or other banking information. The FBI will indeed investigate this crime if more than a certain amount of money has been stolen.

This person might have sold hundreds of pass codes and may have also been using the codes for personal use (which is theft once again). He most likely sold accounts with lots of future paid time in order to get more money from the people because they won't have to pay to keep the account opened for months or years and therefore that gives the account more value.



He did infact try to sell accounts that were pre-paid until 2015 iirc

and yes... he sold hundreds of timecards from what I gather, I'm not sure you'll get many people stepping forward admitting to purchasing them though.

A small amount of invalid codes have been distributed to persons making purchases for Dark Age of Camelot. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and we are working together with the responsible back end provider to distribute correct codes to players affected by this issue.

If you have received an invalid code, you will receive a new code via email within the next days.

Also you cant reactivate an account that is down.. I can renew my buffbot account that has 2 days sub left but when i try to reopen my main account it says theres an error...

Please fix this. -_-

It is great that Bioware/Mythic is on top of this. Thanks for posting and keeping players informed.


I hope your estimated timeframe for getting players an updated code is accurate.

Still no new code still the "normal" sub page gets an error when trying to subscribe..

Got two emails, first said they were investigating the matter, second email told me to get a new code from my vendor (in this case the EA origin store i guess). Which is kind of weird as their support staff already told me (at the beginning of all this) that they can't help me in any way and that I should get a new code from Mythic. I just mailed them again of course but if they refer me back to mythic again i'll probably go insane.
