So how many months does the game not even have a functioning Website? |
And we come to the close of yet another month. Who wants to bet that October will roll by and still no change? Any takers?

I think the chances of the website being 100% functional like everyone wants it are slim to none. In fact, Bioware/EA whoever runs daoc will probably just pull the plug on the entire game first.
I don't think most people care about the rest of the website. If they just got the realm stats and the housing page working I think everything else would be fine.
There are player sites that take care of the other things.
Not being able to look up players and guilds is lame, especially since the site has been down for so long. They should have left the old one up until a working version was complete.

i would just like them to answer why they closed the old herald before having a new one fully done and ready to go~

Here is a prime example of why Mythic does not like to have a presence on the boards. They know they will be asked good/valid questions to which they do not have good answers (and will end up looking stupid) and they feel uncomfortable about it.
I am not saying that your question is wrong, just pointing out that Mythic does so many things that there is no reasonable explanation for and it is human nature to not want to be confronted with, and have to explain, ones own illogical silliness.
It is sad that Mythic does not really understand how simple it is to stop questions that make Mythic look silly. Mythic just needs to stop doing silly things.

I don't understand the time they spend on silly fluff yet allow glaring deficiencies like this and legendary bows to languish for years! Archery fumble rates - 2 years of misery and denial of the data.

Well, if you don't have the ability to communicate about your own game mechanics then why even get in the MMO field to begin with.
For them to say that it's 'complex' when it has been working for 10 years is ludicrous. Seriously, it's an amateur remark, and it the Customer Relations guy can't make a logical statement about the game then maybe they should get someone in that can. It's pretty sad when freeshards are able to do things that professional (?) game developers can't seem to figure out. Especially something as routine as making a web page.

Best patch notes in several years. Now just fix legendary bows / pathfinding / archer ras / viper % dmg increase progression / purgable time immune to poisons / fix summoner hall items stats/procs & release Origins and this game will have EASILY TWICE THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE...EASSSSILY.
Keep up the good work and try not to completely crash the game for a month when you release this patch. It looks very good on paper...just like the
Summoner's Hall Re-Vamp, but I guess you know how much of a half-ass job I thought that was...
On the brighter side, something gives me the sneaking suspicion that the herald will be fixed by the 10th Anniversary...if this happens then it is SERIOUSLY on. I'm calling up all the old school ballers personally and we are going to have a field day if they aren't locked up in jail or have 8 kids by now

It's starting to be much more useful.
