I’ve worked for some of the worst established yet biggest companies ever, and they still had the ability to handle public relations / community relations on a punctual timeline to at least give the illusion that they knew what they were doing once in a while. I have no clue whose running this company and what they honestly think they are doing. It is not a hard game to fix and it’s very easy to dedicate some time in some areas to increase subscription ratio once again.
They have a handful of people who even work on daoc, and EA barely even knows it has the rights to this game other than the little profit it turns for them. What is most disappointing though is that it even seems the handful of people don't care, or are close to completely incompetent. You don't release the last 3 patches the way they have been without earning the merit of my previous sentence.

I have never understood the abject incompetence among Mythic developers and coders. After the initial launch, they've bolluxed up just about everything imaginable. I've never played a game so poorly maintained or executed. Great idea and concept, but the execution is so poor that it drowns out anything good.

LOL. NO. It's ok. It took them 2+ years to admit bow fumbles were bugged back in 2003. LOL.

Of the things wrong and broken with this game, the herald is really the least of my concerns. I really couldn't care less about looking up guilds, players RP's gained etc. I'd prefer their devs work on the GAME rather then a bunch of meta crap that really doesn't enhance game play in any way, shape or form.
