The color change usually worked for one or two fights, and then the enemy would adapt. Much like the borg does with phaser blasts.

I did not read all of the posts so I am not sure if this was already spoken about, but I fondly recall xteaming as a whole realm with the Mids to get their relic back from Hib.
I just thought it was so cool that both realms worked together in unison, side by side, killing Hibs without attacking each other. I can recall killing two Hibs on my Infy with the aid of a Mid and then we bowed at each other.
Was an extraordinary fun and unique night.

It's not so fun when the shoe is on the other foot.
I remember DV blockading sauvage so that no albs could get through to defend excaliber from mids who were attacking.

Ahah! I just remembered one of my proudest memories shortly after NF went live. I don't know what got it in my head, but I declared to myself that one day I'd solo a tower. Several times I'd go off to some random unclaimed tower and start beating on it. Almost every single time I'd get pretty far only to have some defenders come zerg me. Once, I was killing the Lord when Boridi killed me. Lord was under 20% hp. Damn you Boridi, but you just delayed the innevitable!
I did, however, finally end up taking one of the spires. Between leaving out staggered hp regen wards, end chant, and just being uber, I broke throught he doors and killed the red conned Lord and called the tower mine. To this day I still remember which tower.

Go to Midgard, its the Eastern Hlid tower (full name of Hlidskialf Faste Spire). Then I killed a few noobs with tar before some ranged classes sniped me down.

Only good NF memory was when hibs had Merlins staff in Nged and it got hit by well over 100 albs while CD and firm were doing a ml3 raid....30 or so hibs held them off on the stair at lord room for 2-3 hours. CD refused to come until raid was over (it had just started) 2+ hours later 120+ albs got sandwhiched by hibs in lord room and cd rushing up from cy. One of the most fun defenses I've been in. Remember all the ml10 convokers dropping decimation traps (Is that what they're called?.....been so long) on same spot and insta killing numberous albs.......and vica versa once they figured out what we were doing.
