Here we go again people whining about Decal and AC, I am an old school player and I love the things decal offers. I wish ppl would remeber when we didn't have decal and had to manually buff all the time, or had to buff ppl in the fellows or guild you were in to be able to hunt. Decal is a great program that allows tank to run and auto heal fellows while I am still able to hunt without being worried weather or not a friend of mine will die in vod. I don't have to watch peoples stam , health, or mana anymore. The question I got to put forward is how many of these whiners out there have had there butts saved by programs like El Tank ?

Thanks for pointing to the roots of the problem, monstermadness. Which is that many people don't even know how to kill a drudge slinker without eltank.

AC will never be like it once was where you had no buffbots, no macros, etc I played in the beta and I played since '99 and all you AC Hippies who wish for the grand old game to return must have forgot how hard it was and boring to actually play back in the pre-decal era. Why do you guys have to bring this crap up every single friggin time? Don't beat a dead horse, let sleeping dogs lie, shuddup already and dont use the damn thing or its plugins , but most importantly.. stop the whining , pissing, bitching and moaning about it, AC of old is DEAD, the newer AC is and always will contain exploits, cheats, decal or 3rd party apps, just shut up about it for god's sake. Play the game as YOU want to play the game, if someone uses decal and say eltank or a combater they will eventually get busted and banned, I turn in every single UCM'er I can find because I hate the idea of someone cheating, BUT I still load up 30+ plugins including eltank for the OTHER features it has, I would not play the game without it. Oh big friggin deal I am a gimp and cant play the game without decal, I never said I couldnt, I said I wont. And all you guys who are statistic dweebs saying that only 25% of the population would quit if decal was broken forever are fooling yourselves (and no you stats police I have not conducted a scientific poll to back up my claim, but hey neither have YOU) I would lose about 60% of my guild based on what they said they would do if decal was not fixed, and we do not have macroers and hard core ACMers either just casual players.
DECAL = GOOD, whining about decal = just plain stupid
keep up the good work decal and plugin Devs!!!!!

Now for you morons that call El Tank a combat macro you are truely showing how ignorant you really are. El Tank cannot run for more than 5 mins without keyboard entry!!!! It has been this way for a long time!!! What you are seeing for combat macro's is AC Macro!!! This can run without Decal but does have a plugin to use with Decal. El Tank has nothing to do with AC Macro's and programs like that are condemed by the author of El Tank. So if your going to pick on a plugin before you open your mouth I suggest you find out what the real plugin is!!!
As far as buff bot's go I do think they have damaged the game. But the cow is out of the barn so it's too late to close the door.

I mean COME ON Whiners, give it a rest. You aren't going to do or say anything that is going to make a difference anyway. I am quite sure that there are tons MORE people that WANT Decal, ElTank and all the other plug-ins that may still be alive after this expansion, than there are you that do not! These guys that are trying to develop the new version don't need to see your stupid little child-like attitudes and whinings. All you are doing is wasting space on the server anyway. You don't like Decal or tank or any of the other add ons? DON'T USE THEM. For that matter, if you hold this attitude, DON'T PLAY AC! Just Go away. I assure you that we will NOT miss you. I hate whiners.

Someone is displaying their ignorance, it's just not who you seem to think, valkoor.
People use things like ACkeepalive to manage those demanding keypresses every 5 minutes.
Even the people that are watching ElTank play for them are using it as an Attended Combat Macro... which surely meets the defintion of combat macro.
Sheesh, maybe get a monkey to write your next post for you.
