We are currently facing two major issues.


First is the one I expected, graphics. Although we have a basic display in place, it does not handle transparency, which will kill virtually every HUD plugin out there. We have a possible solution to this, but those with the expertise in that area do not have a lot of time right now.


Second is with the new UI, the UI object that a LOT of our memlocs were based on no longer exists, so we need to find alternatives for a lot of the memory locations. Best guess at this moment is that any plugin that used memlocs directly (a very large percentage of them) will be broken even when the replacement memlocs are found, as the way they are used will probably change.


Based on recent progress, do not expect Decal to be available at release of ToD. When we get some of the 'big' issues resolved, I'll post a better ETA.

Edit: BTW, Turbine said they were taking steps to make sure decal wasn't broken for months after the XP. Have they done anything to make it easyer?

Yes, they have.


But there can be a wide gap between 'easier' and 'easy'.
