Hey Drak Some things never die, they just stink like they did. You know...kinda like the attitudes of the nay sayers of our beloved Decal and Tank and the other things that obviously make their world a miserable place to live in.

i think a lot of the decal users are aware of the reputation and like pointed out in other threads many decal users don't use it for combat macroing. personally i wouldn't mind it all, even would very much like it when combat macroing would be removed from the official decal.


I believe the above quote shows that most people dont even really know what decal really does.


I would love it if they would explain to me how you combat macro with "DECAL". Its only an interface for plugins. It handles the calls between the plugins an the game. Its like blaming a car for having an accident.

First, I like decal and never use it to UCM / ACM. I do not use ElTank. I do enjoy the buffing / mapping / xp tracking / Quest tracking and other informational tools.

As much as I do understand how Combat Macros have affected AC I do not believe that the vast majority of decal users use it for ACM / UCM. Decal is a valuable tool and as the Decal CoE states (paraphrased). It would be a shame to not have the vast good it can do because of a minor evil.


In every game there will be the D00d factor.

In every game there will be the powerlevelers.

In every game there will be zealots on every side.

In every game there will be macro's and exploits.


Guess what. Live with it or go back to pong.


As for monstermadness you may want to turn off Eltank and actually learn to play AC under intense combat and stress. It's way more fun.


As for me, I just want to know how to get places without remembering all those damn portals.

Ok I have no clue why you think I got it all wrong, for another I don't use tank to combat macro I use it to heal me in intense situations. More to the point I use it in buff mode only. Also I like tank for the fact that it finds uber loot for me and tracks portals.


PS: FYI I have been playing this game since retail before Decal tank or any plugins. I know how to play AC without the help of these programs.

Then my aplogies monster. My comments came about your comments on the usage of tank to heal others while in combat. I see this happen all the time as people use ElTank to fight for them. I even FEEL dirty being healed by that system.


Automated SELF buffing / tracking / selling / etc I am all for but I just find it silly that people use a bot to actually hunt.

I first wanted to Say thank you for all your Hard work and hope to have my Decal Back soon. on that subject can we get a Paypal link like we did last time it was broke hard and everyone that wanted to donated? Hopefully you all had fun at the ACPL with the Donations last time.


I for one would love to donate to the Decal Dev's for thier hard work and time seeing as how alot of them no longer even play and are gracious enough to even think about us.. Thank you. I know you are not required to update Decal but I would hope that you would want to. You have many people out there that Love you and the work that you do. Thank you. AC wouldnt have kept me playing as long as I have without the many Plugin's that I love.
