I have heard a lot about this problem, but have not been able to replicate it. This is a VVS issue, and unchecking VVS should restore functionality.
What I really need is for someone who is having this problem to download DebugView ( http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896647.aspx ) and paste me the exceptions (if any) that are popping up.

As most, I'm sure this has been asked a lot. Sorry. I went back a bit, but didn't see a solution.
Anyway to slow down the open and close of a corpse?
Using Alinco3 to loot. Should I not?
VTank misses more than it picks up. I am assuming Alinco uses a slow scan mode. Often, the corpse is closed by VTank and Alinco then chimes in.
So, I have to turn off the macro to loot. Which, isn't a problem, as I am right there. Just gets tedious.

Yup, read that. Nope, doesn't answer the question.
Items get detected, but VTank is so anxious to get moving along, it doesn't stick around long enough to loot. Opens, closes, runs off, Alinco finally detects, but 4 out of 5 times the item doesn't get looted. It never fails to pick up Major Mana Stones, peas, or anything that's on the left side of the loot on the corpse.
Or are you saying it's a distance issue?
It's an awesome program, and I'm truly impressed at the various features you've added, and appreciate the efforts. And thanks for the reply! Awesome stuff.

This is a guaranteed sign that you have not properly configured your alinco.los loot profile in VTank. Please check to make sure the alinco.los file is actually selected under loot profile.

And you're probably right ... looks that way. :\
/ is a moron.
I had it that way ... not sure what happened. I lost some my AlincoBuffs and Alinco3 profiles somehow.. things seem to get screwy when the client crashes..
Thanks again.

Could I make a feature request?
- An option to terminate combat as soon as the creature death message has been received, by turning left or right.
This would keep UA toons from getting pulled forward by the creatures death, and keep them from swinging 2-3 times at the corpse.
- An option to allow switching weapons without first going into non-combat mode.
Hi VI,
any thoughts as to whether it is possible to implement this as an advanced option?

VTank already attempts to stop attacking when the death message arrives. I guess it doesn't always work.
Fast UA switching is on the list.

VI, I have tried using those pre-made templates you pointed me to but can't get them to work for some reason. When I try to load them, I get an error message.
I actually posted about this a few pages back but never got a reply. I'll see if I can find it real quick.
Edit: Here was my original post:

Does anyone have a loot profile that they could put up here? The ones that are linked on the vtank tutorial will not work. When I try to open them with the utank editor, I get an error.
I could probably make a profile myself, but when making one, you need the value for each salvage type. Is there somewhere this info is listed?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Please use the editor that is installed on your machine with the bundle. It is located in your VirindiTankClassicLooter install directory.
