VTank already attempts to stop attacking when the death message arrives. I guess it doesn't always work.

Fast UA switching is on the list.

Hmmmm....have you ever tried this on a UA toon with fastest swing set? My toon takes 2-4 additional swings at the corpse.

How does it attempt to stop attacking?

You might be able to break the attack quicker by turning left or right, or selecting the next available target asap after getting the death message.

Hi, nice plugin, I tried it last night for the first time. I had an issue where it wouldn't cast rings, can you think of any reasons? It cast wars fine. I left it with the default ranges it installed with. I did modify the spell levels to make it use VIs, but even before I did that it wasn't using rings (over 400 war skill). I couldn't see any obvious things stopping it.

Ahh, looking through this board seems I need to identify the mobs to ring. If I tick the R box on the 'default' monster line will that use rings for every mob I don't otherwise have explicitly added to my list?

you can ident specific or default i believe

with the default it works (I BELIEVE and am not always right) that if you are ringed by 4 different types of monsters and you have limit set to 4 it won't trigger rings, in that it works off 4 monsters of the same type.

It selects your char. However, this may not always work...the client's melee attack code appears to be very aggressive.

Question for the people using the bundled version.

Is it picking up rares while using Alinco?

Im using the standalone version and it is still not picking them up.

I run bundled and when run with Alinco it does not pickup rares. I noticed something interesting the other day - I found a rare, did not get picked up - I paused Vtank - and openned manually - Alinco picked it up and recognized it properly.

I do know when I use Vtank without Alinco running - no issue picking up rares.

Wondering if the issue lies somewhere in the connector between vtank and Alinco?

Hey VI. Hate to keep bothering you with this, but I cannot get this to work for some reason.

When I use either of the examples here... http://www.virindi.net/wiki/index.php/VTClassic_AdvancedLooting.....I get an error when I try to open them.

The basic, bare bones example that comes with VTank opens fine.

Lemme make sure im doing it right. I dl the zipped file...unzip it to the same file the bare bones example is in. Then I open the UTank2 settings editor....click File....Open....then select AdvancedExample2. It should then open the file in the editor.

Is this correct, or am I doing something wrong?

Ball Cruncher what version of the editor are you using? Should be I think 1.0.0.8 works fine for me. Old one I have ver 1.0.0.1, I get the crashes with it. Place your cursor on the editor file without clicking on it, lil box should appear with version $ in it along with other info. At least does for me with Vista 64bit.

I went ahead and updated to the bundled version and got it to work.

Now I have a stupid question. I "locked" the huds in place and can't figure out how to "unlock" them. How to I get em to move again?
