VI, you mind posting the correct rule for those of us not familiar with setting up the tank looting?


I'm assuming that as long as I don't have the loot option checked in Alinco that VTank does the looting. Is that correct?

you create a NEW looting profile NAMED alinco.los (think vt adds .los you just name it alinco (carriage return). then make sure in VT you have enable looting checked.


with those two set, vt lets alinco control looting.

You have to have a rule set for VTank to know what to loot.

Question: Im using VT with Alinco3 and have the Alinco.los loot profile. I have VT using mana charges to keep my armor filled automaticly with mana. Is VT supposed to NOT use any items to drain mana out of that "hit" with Alinco3 on any rule other then manatank? If so why did this get drained? It got a hit as Two-Handed rule.


(Two Handed)Peridot Lightning Tetsubo, 14.3-22, +7%a, +12%md, Defender VI, Infected Caress, Strength Self VI, Two Handed Combat 350 to Wield, Diff 61, Sho, Craft 10, Value 19,421, BU 464

The Mana Stone drains 5,463 points of mana from the Peridot Lightning Tetsubo.

The Peridot Lightning Tetsubo is destroyed.

yes.. vtank has it's own "mana-tank" rules (found in the advanced configuration). If you don't want Alinco picking up stuff, then set it to like 80000 mana

I do want Alinco picking up things, and it did exactly like I wanted. Picked it up cause it hit the "two handed" rule. I just dont want VT to then destroy something for the mana unless it doesn't hit on any rule.

Im having issues of installing (actually loading VTank) Install seemed to work ok, sent it to its own file on C: Drive. But when I try to log in it keeps comming up with this window:[Has no window title,has an OK click option or exit top right corner]

When I click OK it continues but looses connection to game.

I have tried loading it several times! System Restore to previous day and another reinstall. Im very surprised that VTank does not have a uninstaller. Why dont you have an UNINSTALLER??

No where can I find VTank in the uninstall Programs.

No. All looting works with the same mechanism: Alinco3 implements a lootplugin, and VTClassic is a lootplugin.

To use VTClassic, use the editor in the VirindiTankClassicLooter directory to create a profile in your vtank directory.

Is VT supposed to NOT use any items to drain mana out of that "hit" with Alinco3 on any rule other then manatank? If so why did this get drained? It got a hit as Two-Handed rule.



You are correct about how it is supposed to work. It isn't supposed to eat matching items. This could happen if Alinco didn't specify the item as lootable (for instance if you didn't have alinco.los set). Or, it could be some other problem. I haven't had this happen, myself.

When I click OK it continues but looses connection to game.
I have tried loading it several times! System Restore to previous day and another reinstall. Im very surprised that VTank does not have a uninstaller. Why dont you have an UNINSTALLER??
No where can I find VTank in the uninstall Programs.



I'm not really sure what's going on with that exception, but it seems like the plugins do not have full write access (ie. the game is not being launched as admin).

If you want to uninstall, you can do the following:

-For plugins/filters, select the plugin in Decal and click remove, then delete the plugin directory.
-For Virindi View Service, follow instructions here: http://www.virindi.net/wiki/index.php/Virindi_Views#Uninstalling

Hey Virindi,

A friend of mine is trying to upgrade from the standalone package to the bundle package.
My friend is using Windows Vista 64bit edition and has UAC turned off.
He has run the installer as an Admin and installed the plugin package in C:\Games to not conflict with Vista.
After launching the game he only has one little box in the top left corner for his vvs bar.
