Hi, back in ac after another long hiatus. First off thanks for the time and effort that must have gone into this amazing plugin. I just have a query regarding the use of void magic and was wondering if it is possible to configure vtank to detect if a DoT spell is already active on a mob. I am assuming its not as I have read through the FAQ and done a few searches to no avail but I thought I'd check as I've a lot to catch up on in game and may have missed something.
I have attack checked and that is working fine, what I find is when I have corruption cast also it will kill the first mob and then recast corruption on the second before hitting it with a bolt. Ideally it would be nice to be able to detect that the mob has already been hit by the previous corruption spell and go straight to a bolt.
Thanks in advance

The way VTank handles Void Magic and the Corruption spell is probably the (admittedly amazing) plugin's greatest weakness. There are four or five big bugs with VTank and Void.
- If there's something between you and your target that is struck by a Corruption bolt before the target is (even if it hits the target eventually), VTank won't detect that and will continue to cast Corruption over and over and over. It also doesn't detect what the side bolts hit, so as you describe it will recast the spell when that monster becomes the primary target.
- Also, I believe that if the center Corruption bolt doesn't hit the target, it doesn't register with VTank as a successful cast and it will recast and recast.
- It doesn't know the range of Destructive Curse, so if you have that selected and the target is out of range it will continue to cast and recast that spell over and over.
- When set to use a secondary vuln (a fantastic feature by the way) with Void Basic as the primary attack type, VTank will cast Destructive Curse on each target as if it were a vuln. I'm not sure why this is.
- The "Auto" attack type does not work at all for Void users. This isn't a huge deal, since I just change the default monster to Void Basic, but it can cause problems when a pure Void mage (without a secondary attack skill) adds a new monster to the VTank list (it defaults to Auto). This is the lowest priority of the Void-related bugs.
The handling of Corruption is probably the most pressing need for improvement in VTank.
Thanks so much for all your hard work VI, we appreciate it.
