I have the same issue with archers. It will shoot endlessly into a hill and never blacklist.

Not sure how intricate this fix would be, but I would absolutely LOVE it if you had a moment to update vtank with an archer blacklist option.

Did you go under the advanced options and turn down the number of attempts before blacklisting. Think it defaults to like 40-50 attempts before blacklisting.

I personally set it down to 1 - 2, no difference.

Not a huge deal, but I noticed that VT doesn't always recognize when I have a wand equipped and try to run macro. It complains that the profile needs to have at least 1 wand set. If I unequip/re-equip, it will then run. This goes along with the problem I'm having up above...how to load a profile using command-line that can actually function. I can't get it to load a character specific version of a profile, and all the global profiles suffer from the fact that you can't really add a wand to it since only 1 character would have that wand. Anyways, noticed the wand thing since I was using a global profile with no wands and hoping that VT would recognize the equipped wand.

You do realize you can name the profiles WHATEVER you want, right? It's really not that hard to select the correct one for the character you have logged in. Once you do it, it stays set until you change to another one on that character.

If the char name has a space, just manually enter a profile name without the space. You could even go into the vtank folder and manually change the name of the profile there.

Yeah...the problem I have is that most of my chars have spaces or ' in the name, so from what I can tell I can't load settings on a [Char] basis and have to resort to a global profile name. The problem with putting them in the global space is that it clutters up what is already a huge list of profiles. I mean I probably have 50 [Char] profiles (I automate a LOT) and I change back and forth between them constantly. I'm already finding that by itself to be a pain which is partly why I'm asking the questions I am...so that I can automatically trigger profiles without having to go select them.

I guess the better work-around in my case is just to make some global profiles and add the wands/items for every char to those profiles and ignore the fact that there will be a ton of invalid IDs.

I have a couple questions regarding the looter/salvager. I've read the regular and advanced faq multiple times, as well as looked at a few profiles. My question is how will it know not to salvage some of my not so great rended weapons/armor? Do I have to make a rule for those items? I guess I could make my rules more lenient to include those, but I was hoping I could start with a stricter ruleset so I don't continue to clutter my mules.

I guess my main question is, is there a way to make it know that any tinked item is not for salvaging? Or just how you deal with that.

VTank does not salvage any item it has not just picked up off a corpse. Additionally, any item with tinks or an inscription is not salvaged.

If you use Alinco3 though, it is possible for it to do it. Keeping the auto-ust setting off in Alinco3 will cause VTank to do the salvaging and preserve its new item only protection.

Hello. I am having issues with vtank. It won't recognize weapons or wands therefore it wont buff or do combat. I have also noticed it will not recognize locations so I can not set routes. Something else I have noticed is the the in game bar that is useally right above the chat bar is like 3 inches above it now in the middleof my screen. This seemed to have happened right after the update. Oh and I have checked my files and all eems to be up to date. Help please.

If you hold down the left control key you can move the bar.

What do you mean by "won't recognize weapons"?

With the global profiles, if you name one "Mulepewp", and select it for character X, the next time you log in, that profile automatically comes up, right?

Then, if you log in mule Y, make a second global profile named "mulepoop", it should be the one that loads each time that char is logged in, until you change it.

Or does a global profile not make changes with each new profile made?
