what is the story with vi integrator sign up and multiple accounts?

more then a year ago i tried to sign up ingame and it failed on me for some reason and hadn't bothered with it since then.

now on another account i go thru all the data entry process only after clicking submit to be told that another account (i guess the failed one from a year or so ago) has that email address.

does that mean on multip accounts i log in only on the one account or do i need an account for each ac instance/account i've got running.

and if the later how do i sign up with only the one email address?

You can login to the same VI2 account with as many clients as you wish. It is designed under the assumption that you will only use one account, because that way people can easily send you a VI2 /tell by just sending it to one account.

ok nice to know now and helps with the 2nd problem.

BUT as i mentioned or should have in the PM my ISP crashed during the setup and now almost 2 years later have no clue as to what was the password. as an email address is required I get rejected trying to start a new account as that one is 'in use' well it was entered but never completed (it it go completed while i was offline) or at least never used (by me for sure).

guess i'll ahve to PM you the email add so you can delete the account and then i can make one.

I am having a problem with Navigation.

When I enable nav, it will run to the next waypoint, some times even go thru a couple waypoints, then it stops.
If I hit the up arrow it starts again but then stop shortly thereafter.

i've read 2 or 3 times on problem that causes this is folks have turned on mouse movement. mouse movement breaks the AC auto run, and Vtank nav uses auto tank to nav.

F11 key, config tab, scroll all the way down. Input Options, Turn your char with camaer turning MUST not be green(checked).

if it's green that is your issue, turn it off and your nav issues should disappear.

what bugs me is the Gameplay options tab (deafult of F11 key) has a bit Use mouse turning settings which turns it on but DOES NOT toggle the setting off. so if you clicked on that once (or more times) mouse movement is on. the button should toggle as appropriate between turn on and turn off (IMHO).

I was looking for somewhere on the HUD to turn on something like "Time until rebuff"
is there an option or that?

dont believe there is. in the advanced page there is a setting you can change currently set at 300 seconds for rebuff time remaining.

Yet another stupid VT question. Is there a way to convince VT to use consumables (potions) as emergency healing or mana replenishment items? The "drink potion" animation appears to be faster than the "cast heal" animation so it would make sense to use them as a quick "oh crap, I'm going to die" option.

Since I don't use VT's combat options (void mage), having a better emergency recovery story would be nice.

Spells are always* preferred over potions when in magic mode.

*Theoretically you could alter the recharge handler table in a profile manually to change this. It is a subtable of the Settings table, named RechargeHandlerSet. For instance, you could swap the following two table rows (recharge options are in priority order):

1, Regular Spell, 0, 15, 1
1, Recharge With Food, 0, 15, 1

Vital 1 is HP, magic mode is stance 1. The above would cause heals from under 15% hp to prefer to use food/potions.

Obviously, this would be for advanced users only.

Right on, thanks guys.

I went ahead and upgraded my HDD and did a fresh install of OS + AC and decal + vtank. Did as suggested and kept the bundle, unchecking the features I dont use while still able to recieve updates to the main program. Things are running much better now, but prolly due mostly to the new OS I think

Another question I had was..

When I run colo I ussually am 2 boxing so I park an archer in the corner and let vtank do everything, while I manualy keep my 2h'r out of the wall spells. I haven't had much luck with the <auto> settings on weapon and ammo though.

What my group leader calls for damage is often different then what vtank whips out and starts using. So I was wondering... Under the mobs tab for instance, could I type in just "Olthoi" and select my para bow, for ALL types of bugs? Or would I have to type in each "type" of olthoi as a seperate entry?

The <auto> setting always whips out my pierce rend bow, regardless if I have my para bow listed in items. Numerous other dmg types don't apear to be what they should be either.

Or, is it possible to somehow edit the <auto> settings somewhere? I might be getting in over my head on that one though

Thanks for any help

EDIT - perfect example, can I just type in Adept or do I have to type in Adept of Fire, Adpet of Acid, Adpet of etc etc
