Also... I have went back to 2.9.6.0 successfully by clearing the registry.

I don't see anything in the post you made about what I can do to fix my problem. Did I miss something?

I had to close decal, download and install DirectX 9 again, (directx_9c_Apr05sdk_redist), and now everything works fine once again.

Im having the issue that every time I start the AC client I get Microsoft windows error that says:

acclient has stopped working
a problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
yada yada yada

I am running 2.9.6.5 client, and as soon as I hit close on that error box I can log in jsut fine, but every time I try to log into AC, I always get the error the first time.


My machine is a gateway gt5268, 2.4ghz, quad core, vista 32 bit. Nvidea gts250 video card.

getting the same error, and im also using the intel 2.4ghz core 2 quad cpu. wonder if thats the problem?

edit: except that mine crashes every time, not just the first time I try

Hmm.. Got the crash on install after being offline for a week, figured I'd re-download 2.9.6.5. Uninstalled, ran the clean registry tool, reinstalled 2.9.6.5 and now decal isn't present in game. It's almost like decal isn't detecting acclient starting.

Any ideas?

EDIT: Never mind, something I did got it working again.

The crash I am experiencing is a "acclient has stopped working" error, when it pops up, I still load into world
So I "can and have" dragged the window to the bottom left/right and just ignored it, but as soon as I hit the "x" or close program,
it crashed the client "obviously", below is my PC stats and decal exports.

Having the same ongoing problem with 6.4 and 6.5...

Posted export alrdy of when I had 6.5 installed, I am back to 6.0 currently because it is the only version of decal that works for me.
