Good lord guys, he needs the error message from the crash. When you crash, look at the error that pops up. It'll have all that stuff he's asking for. You may have to click more info.

I have everything (2.9.6.5) running fine on my i7 2600 ati 5770 w win7 pro 64 comp. This comp is a core 2 quad 6600 w an nvidia gtx 560 and winxp sp2. My char logs in the I get an acclient crash. I'm not sure where to obtain the info you need...

Two things to help figure things out. One is decal export the other is the Windows event log for that crash.


1. Decal Export (make sure to check Location). Copy paste into post.

2. After a crash Event Viewer->Application will have recent event about the crash.

How to get to this depends on your operating system.

Try entering eventvwr.msc in either
Start->Run
Start->search program and files.

Do whatever to get open the Application event for the crash event.

Win 7 will look like

I have decal installed exactly as it supposed to be, yet everytime i try to log on to AC with decal running i get the message ACCLIENT has stopped working. any ideas on this ?

Also, went through and installed any remaining "requirements" (DX9.0c, some of the vcredist_x86 files, and MSXML4) then ran the Decal 2.9.6.5 installer (Without trying to install any of the lower versions first) AC loads, and Decal loads fine now. (Of course I have no plugins loaded yet (Just DHS) Will be installing them tomorrow and see if any of them "break" logging in.
