Just saw The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo

Excellent movie. My friends were a bit split about it, but I thought it was pretty good overall and look forward to the sequel, "The Girl Who Played With Fire" coming out in 2013.
The rape scene was hard to watch and definitely made me uncomfortable but the overall story and movie was good.

i've regretted seeing the english version of a few movies that were originally swedish. they're never as good.

be glad. i saw it. they used a lot of different book material for it but honestly, if i hadn't read the book, i'd have been SO confused. it was weirdly disjointed and just.. bad. but again i had read the book and watched the swedish film before watching the american one and i knew i'd hate the american one going in. i was like ok it's time to try not to hate hit girl in this.
