he's still alive and on my patio.  more of his guts are protruding out. so it's still suffering brit. i can't bring myself to kill it and i can't have my animals do it because they all like to play with their live things first. so i'm just hoping something sees it and eats it. if not, my dog might find it tomorrow and kill it.
I hope its suffering isn't stressing you out or anything. Are you ok?

Seriously...if you really give a rat's ass about the poor lizard, just take it's head off. Quickest and least messy way to put him out of misery.
Lizards are awesome. My cats always tried to catch them, too.

Asphyxiation
1. Place small animal in an airtight plastic container.
2. Pour baking soda and vinegar into a cup and place in the container.
3. Close the lid. The animal should quickly pass out and painlessly die.
