I've never even considered using the oven, I generally pan fry it, but I must try this now.

What is the temperature setting and for how long?

pan fry is the best tasting method imo.

My oven method- big sheet of tin-foil, curled up at the edges with a cookie sheet underneath. Cook bacon, remove slices, and then once the foil is cool enough to handle, fold it so you can just pour the bacon grease into a jar. No mess, no dishes to clean up, no grease splatters, it's really the perfect way to make bacon imo.

Exactly how I do it. Use a mason jar and then it seals for the fridge.

edit - I cook mine at 350 for about 18 minutes - turning it over halfway. I'm one of the crispy bacon lovers, if you want the limp stuff reduce your time. Just keep an eye on it.

My Mom always saved the grease, and yelled at Dad when she caught him dipping crackers into it.

Leave it in the package to thaw on the counter, then cook it and feed it to the dogs.

Otherwise, just throw it away.
