Headed up to Methuen, couldnt afford as much as we wanted inside 93. At least Tax Free NH is next door, i keep running up to Salem's Home Depot to save some dough. Plus, this place has a garage. mmm.
The banks actually weren't a problem, got their approval two weeks ahead of closing. We put 20%+ down, so they were probably happier than a pig in s***.
The real hassle is getting the place ready to move in. So far i have had to file down holes in two metal doors to install deadbolts, which has ran me out of swear words. Last night i painted the largest ceiling in the house, didnt get back to the apartment till 1am.

I wanted to stay farther north, but the wife veto'd it. I ended up in Burlington as second choice, was trying for Wilmington, but there wasn't anything decent in our buying window. Everyone tells me how much they love our big "1/2 acre" lot but I used to have 2.5 acres off a lake in NH  And it was across from conservation land.
I work in Boston so it makes sense I guess now that I got hitched and has kids.
