You can thank all the banks and deadbeats who worked the system a few years back for making it much more difficult today. I just refinanced last year with the SAME DAMN COMPANY who currently holds my mortgage and they needed so much BS including semen and DNA from your first born. I was very surprised how much more difficult it was just to refi, I can not imagine a purchase today.
