Just remember, if something is wrong with your install, or goes wrong after you're playing the game a bit - like you happen to die - reformat.

Its your typical MMO that is fun as hell... Calling it WoW in space is a joke since WoW doesn't do anything original. It just takes from all the games and implements them so they don't lose players. WoW is nothing more than a clone of every other game on the market and a marketing machine.

That said... SWTOR is definitely worth a try if you are a star wars geek. I'm having a blast playing it, and I love watching the cut scenes in every quest.

It plays like a single player game. It is fun for a while but the boredom sets in pretty fast imho.

Anyone remember what the end game content was when WoW first came out? Anyone? I'll give you a hint... Molten Core wasn't in yet, there were no world dragons, PvP was ALL open world.. No Battlegrounds or Arena.

Our End game was Black rock... SWTOR is already ahead of the curve. WoW has had nearly 8 years to get to the point it is now. SWTOR already has around half as much content and many unique and fun features. Will it be "the WoW Killer?" Absolutely not. The only thing that will kill WoW is time. Will it be successful for years to come? I think yes. Its a strong IP, a good company with lots of money, and Lucas himself is involved in it (he wasn't involved in SWG at all.) I personally don't care if it ever overtakes WoW as the greatest game ever. For me its a fun game to play until Planetside 2 gets released.

Yeah gotta hate those know-it-all raid bosses

Raid boss is the thing you kill, raid leader is the dickhead telling you what to do. I still love you though

oh you mean like SWTOR took all the good pvp elements from Warhammer online right? Considering they hired almost all of the people who worked on Warhammer to work on SWTOR(literally) . Just saying, WoW isnt the only other game to 'steal' ideas from other games nor will it be the last.

SWTOR is a great game, it has very few bugs and the quests and story line are fun.

You're not forced to group, you will always get a few group only quests that you can choose to do or not do.

turned my cynical penis into a happy vagina
Then after an Oatmeal Cranberry and Double Chocolate,
it made my new vagina spontaneously sing the Trolololo Song in an elevator.

is that why SWTOR pvp is terrible? There was nothing good in Warhammer's pvp system except for "Queue for Battleground anywhere"

it's really not even worth paying attention to those that accuse and MMO of cloning an aspect of another game.
