I don't know that lab created diamonds are as strong as mined diamonds, so they might not be suitable for certain industrial uses. (Maybe they are, though. I just don't know.)

Apart from that, however, I agree.

they have all qualities of stones, look a few pages in from the $2 area, and you find the $150+ stones.

As others have said, it's hard to tell the difference between lab stones and mined stones. That said, my wife would only care about how it looks in the setting and on her, and not it's origin. If she found out I spent 5 grand on a tennis bracelet and could have got it for 1 grand because it had lab stones, she'd probably tell me to take it back and get the cheaper one.

One of the things I love about her is she is *not* high maintenance and is very grateful for any jewelry.
