I don't think any school should be peanut free zones. No kid should have to suffer cause another kid can't have peanut butter. I think a kid with allergies should be separated and watched over. But no, we don't want them singled out. Hell, if it was my kids that was allergic I would want all kids to know they couldn't have it.

Some kids are so highly allergic to peanuts, though, that they can't even breathe in small amounts of peanut dust/smell peanuts... it's not about communism... it's about keeping those kids from going into anaphylaxic shock.

You only think it's an acquired taste because Asians think of cheese as being spoiled milk and think it's disgusting. I've read about this before. You give cheese to a kid that doesn't know how it's made and most of the time it's simply yummy.

Can't help it, it was in print some years back. The point was, of all the foods they eat we find disgusting, they have the same reaction to us eating cheese.

reap its not about how its made, its about how it taste lol. hence acquire taste. Asians unlike Europeans don't give a damn how the food comes about. asians will try it.
oh is it cute. can't eat it because its cute. oh thats how its made, can't eat it etc.. asians arent into that stuff LOL.
old saying cantonese will eat anything that isn't two legs. see you're hangup on foods that might be different, asians on other hand wouldn't bat a eye on it lol. don't care to find out etc.. will try. you think asians think like you care to find out where the food comes from etc.. most asians don't.

sooz, if I had a kid that could die because of peanut dust I would not want him out in the general population. He would have to be older and know how to protect himself. maybe this will help you see the way I mean it.
