its actually pretty comfy, depending on the bed you sleep on. It takes a little getting used to though. I had the softest bed ever in AZ, my shoulder sank right in to the perfect depth, I could sleep with or without a pillow and it was great. The first couple nights you feel like your head is lower than the rest of you.

I travel with my pillow. I hate hotel pillows, they are like little fat marshmallows. You put your head on one and they squish out.
