I think a lot of you don't really understand Nascar or auto racing in general. It is MUCH more physical than you realize, and it takes a great deal more hand-eye coordination than most realize too.

High Wire walking is now a sport because I can die from doing it. Slamming myself in to spikes...a sport. Choking myself...a sport.

Nascar has points. Races give points by finishing place and at the end of the season there is a trophy awarded to the team with the most points.
A point system within the game itself. The 100 meter dash isn't a sport, it's an athletic competition as well. Subjective point systems are they're own classifications called athletic performances.
