NASCAR isn't a sport, it's an athletic competition. A sport requires a point system.
Nascar has points. Races give points by finishing place and at the end of the season there is a trophy awarded to the team with the most points.
A point system within the game itself. The 100 meter dash isn't a sport, it's an athletic competition as well. Subjective point systems are they're own classifications called athletic performances.
Track and Field is a sport by Olympic definitions... then again so is ball room dancing...

That would be a no-brainer anyway - Bowling is definitely more of a sport than curling lol.

Yeah, I'm a bit biased towards bowling too... I'm in 2 different leagues right now holding down a 205 avg.
