It ain't Compton, but there are some pretty terrible areas. A month after we moved out of the 'hood someone dumped a bullet-riddled body in the alley behind our house. It was that kind of place.

there were white versions of the well know gangs growing up.
bloods and crips in the sticks...they thought they were cool until they came across some REAL gang bangers. 
one of them literally pissed his pants
now at work i deal with them all the time.
DC Blacks are trickling in along with some hispanic gangs...tension is high at work right now.
