lack of wolves in s1 as well, tho from what I've been reading they're making it up in Clash.
Curious myself how they'll do the subsequent seasons...
The books just get bigger and bigger with more stuff and way more characters...
I can see them splitting the books into 2 and doing 2 seasons per book....yet, Martin's writing usually comes to a head at the end of the book. There isn't really a good stopping point in the middle of the books that's a big 'wow' or cliffhanger.
*shrug*
yeah, I'm sure they'll just write in new scenes or something to tie them together. I'm curious about what they'll do with feast and dance, if it gets that far. combine the books? split each 1/2 a book by rotating seasons? might be a little weird if they just focus on only feast, but who knows.

I just finished the series, excellent.
My brother sent me a TXT and said Book 3 went to the s****er or something.

#3 is usually everyone's favorite book...lots of stuff happening everywhere and all around.
the ending is amazing.

Some people you like will die but its hardly everyone. My favorite characters have all made it except for one and im not fluting them out yet.
Book 3 is my favorite fantasy book I've read thus far. You really should read it for yourself mithan and make up your own mind.

I just got back from Chapters a few minutes ago with the "box set". My brother has them in hard cover behind me on the shelf, but I wanted soft covers so I can read at night at work and such.
Going to go upstairs and start reading soon, just trolling the boards a bit more.
