No idea, the amount of things that can wipe us out is high.
What I do know is that I don't care much. When I die, as far as I am concerned, humanity is extinct. I wont care. If I do care, it will be because my awareness somehow goes on in some spiritual form, in which case humanity can not become extinct, ever.

Republican warmongering. Since they are to stupid to believe that humans are in fact having negative effects on the environment I am positive they think nuclear war is survivable.

I'm putting my money on "Mass Effect 7 will release and inadvertently turn the entire world population gay. Breeding will stop and the human race will simply wither and die with a generation".

For total extinction I think it will probably be some type of climate change or astronomical event.
In the meantime, I think some virus/bacteria/fungus or combination will eventually cut our population down drastically.
