i know, how hard is it to collect a check from someone and blow calls for the duration of a game?
as far as contact goes...maybe compare NBA contact to Soccer contact...flopping is accepted in those sports.
not that i would call NBA's pelvic thrusting each other contact like i would two NHL players smashing into the boards.

Hell I could be a NBA ref. Give me a list of the star players who never get calls against them is about all I'd need. I just make up crap as I go along just like the rest of the NBA refs. According to Ikk it doesnt matter if I eff up all the calls, its excusable because the game is OHHHH so fast.

i dont think it's a speed of game thing, i think it's people have grown accustomed to stars getting calls and crappy officiating.
when games are rigged, rules are ignored, and violations called for nothing for so long it makes people give up on caring about the zebras.
