Not sure why... I think its cause the remote was out of reach. Anyway it brought a question to my mind. Is traveling not against the rules in the NBA? I must have counted 10 or 15 instances where someone MAJORLY traveled and prolly 20 more minor traveling situations and a bunch of iffy situations.
Now I only played for 1 year back in Jr. High then switched to a real sport (Wrastlin) but I seem to remember having a rule against traveling. It was something like 2 steps without dribbling. Did the NBA just do away with the rule or did they up it to like 7 steps? Very confused as to why it doesn't get called.

It's much more difficult to ref an NBA game than you seem to think it is. Yes they call traveling...sometimes...when they see it.

I don't trust an NBA hater who doesn't even watch the NBA to know the rules and know what traveling is or isn't though. For all I know you're just making isht up in order to hate on the NBA some more.
so, yeah.

And no, traveling is never called. You pretty much have to start walking from center court to have it called.

You don't know what traveling is. You can take several steps with the ball.

You can pretty much stop dribbling and take 6 steps and do a slam dunk in the NBA, they'll never call it

Also depends on who does the traveling. It's more likely to get called on a person from the bench then a star. I have seen star players glide in from out of 3 point area carrying the ball the whol dame way and layup and never get called. One of the reasons I quit watching it.

wasn't the number of steps increased recently?
