wasn't the number of steps increased recently?
or is it just flat out ignored now?

I think it's usually 2.5 steps. More than that and it's a travel.

Also, no shuffling of the pivot foot when you pick up your dribble

You can pretty much stop dribbling and take 6 steps and do a slam dunk in the NBA, they'll never call it

As long as your name is Dwayne Wade or LeBron James, that is correct

Thats wrong and also highly retarded, is everybody allowed to make up stuff that isn't true in this thread?

Yeah I'm sure you saw players travel 15 times without it being called. I'm sure you saw a player take 6 steps without dribbling and it wasnt called.

Post videos or it didn't happen

Also depends on who does the traveling. It's more likely to get called on a person from the bench then a star. I have seen star players glide in from out of 3 point area carrying the ball the whol dame way and layup and never get called. One of the reasons I quit watching it.

This is true for almost every call in the NBA and part of what makes it nearly unwatchable. They seemingly randomly call fouls, travels, and everything else. There is zero consistency in the calls. There are missed calls in all the sports but the NBA is by far the most inconsistent and lacking of any sense.

most blatant of all was LeBron's last year, maybe the year before in the playoffs.
no one within 4 feet and he stumbled on his own and got a foul.

WTH, are you seriously trolling me right now?

I wouldn't trust what you saw if you saw it with my own eyes.
