I think this thread had gotten well underway before I ever saw it, and it was pretty funny. And most of us have even referred to it. Why? Because we knew people here would find it funny. But honestly, how many of us would voluntarily eat a partially eaten sandwich from someone we thought had AIDS? I know the chances of catching AIDS like this are pretty slim, but I myself would not do it. And I doubt any of you would either. You might say you would, but I don't believe you.
I thought it was pretty much impossible to get aids from simple contact. The last I heard not a single case had been reported from casual contact with people living with HIV/AIDS. I probably would but it would depend on the person. If they are keeping themselves relatively healthy/taking meds and such I think I would. If they have like open mouth sores all over and didnt care who they gave AIDS to then I probably wouldnt.
I know this and still would not eat an AIDS sandwich. Sometimes paranoia keeps one from making fatal mistakes.
to be fair, even if you caught aids today you would be more likely to die of natural causes or another heart attack than to die of an aids related illness  I wouldnt worry too much if I were you.

and even if you did catch aids by the time it killed you, youd probably be ready to die anyway at that age. It takes about 10 years(20-30+ if you are able to afford antiretrovirals) to kill someone normally unless it progresses to full blow AIDS then you are dead in a few months.

God there is a lot of misinformation in this thread. My little brother is HIV positive. He is certainly welcome in my home, around my family, and I have eaten after him.
