as in, I'm not sure Ive ever done it.. I am not sure I have

How much would you tip?


over 2 hours (close to 2.5) ....

a 9 yr old, his friend, a 2 yr old, a newborn, the wife, and myself

It wasn't that they were busy either.. people around us were getting served after us.. heck a few tables even sat after us, and left well before us

the kids chicken fingers were burnt (though they didn't care).. my steak tips were ok.. but I ordered a double order of one side, and I got one small small side

We asked for the salads to go when the check came, which we never got with our meal.. we would of asked our waiter if we ever saw him...

My wife wanted to have a few drinks, and I said I would drive (she usually does)..... and she got a a grand total of 2 drinks


What would you tip?? I couldn't tip below 10.. I tried... but I couldn't

no, this isn't a whine thread.. I want to know how many of you would of left less than me, and how many would of left what I did, or more

with the tip, the bill was 91 dollars

I would venture to guess you got judged by appearance as to be non tippers with the kids in tow. I hate when I am treated that way. I will not tip either. And if I am able to hold my tongue until the end of dinner I will usually tell the waitress what she did wrong. Usually I ask for a manager. Sounds like your was so screwed up I would have asked for a manager and have requested a different server at that point. And for sure they are much better at that point and I tend to then tip a bit more than normal on purpose.

nah.. Ive never been treated that bad with the kids.. I usually tip very well, and if they treat us nice, I will be very nice to them.. in fact, I would rather it be that way


I think they had some other function going on downstairs


the other staff was around the other tables, but we didn't see our waiter for time on time again
