I would use my awesome charisma to convince a bunch of people that I was the return of Jebus on earth and only by following me could they be safe, set up a commune and have sex with the hot women (in order to sanctify them) until the zombies showed up, then I was order my minions to protect the commune....while I drove off in a jeep.
Rinse/wash/repeat.

We are pretty well armed here for walking dead type zombies (lots of hunting rifles/shotguns and a few pistols)...and most of my family is close...immediate family is 5 minute drive away, and 90% of our extended family is within a few hundred miles...so we could just pick someone's home and go there.
I wouldn't stay in my city, though...too close to Memphis and this city is pretty heavily populated as well.
I've always thought that if I had the opportunity, I would go for something like a 10 story hotel building...It would have all of the comforts of home, and pretty self-sustainable (their own laundry, lots of beds to use...and most have food so we'd be set for a few weeks if the group wasn't too big probably). And if I was lucky, maybe I could find one with a concrete/brick wall around it so we would just have to seal off a few driveways to keep out the big baddies...and then have the bottom floor or 2 locked down. Maybe my Dad could call some of his work buddies to join us and we could have a whole construction crew on hand for building stuff and/or welding up doors 
I think about zombie apocalypse too much lol.

Piece of cake. I have guns. I have a sailboat. Plenty of small islands around here that I could clear out the zombies and then live on for years.

I have limited guns and ammo, but enough outdoors experience to survive. All my friends are major hunters with uber remote cabins in deep south west Texas. Wells, springs, creeks would mean plenty of water and meat. Not sure about veggies....
thats why seeds would be very important thing to have on hand or scavenge them when searching for supplies.
a plant I would want is potatoes, they can grow in rocky soil pretty hardy to bugs and temperature changes.
plus besides eating them you can also use them to make potato flour.

i would go down to the harbor which is like 2 miles away steal a nice yacht, maybe something with a sail. then head to different islands until i found one without zombies
