LOL how do people use chopsticks??? |
I should know how to use them but I just don't... It's actually annoying if you think about it as a Deaf person. We communicate using our hands, so if we want to say something, we gotta put down the chopsticks to sign. So, if we're using chopsticks and having a conversation... We would not be able to eat, ha ha...
My mother tried teaching me many times and many times she has failed.  lol So she pretty much has given up... Now I just use American utensils  |

You dont have to put down your fork or shovel though?
That's what I was wondering too! You'd have to put any eating utensil down, wouldn't you?

i can use the wooden ones very easily....and i can almost use the ridiculous skinny flat metal ones that most of you have never seen almost as easily
my bf loves using those skinny flat metal ones...we have two pair lol I can only use the wooden ones though theyre much easier to use.

I learned when I was much younger, and that probably helped.
A while back I went to a Chinese buffet with some friends and asked for chopsticks. Friends challenged me to eat pudding with them. I succeeded.

That's what I was wondering too! You'd have to put any eating utensil down, wouldn't you?
American utensils are easier to use... No moving parts!
Chopsticks - you have to manipulate them to do what it's designed to do.
