The other night I was riding home from work at 4 in the morning. I guess at some point, someone hit me. I don't remember the accident, because I landed on my face and lost about an hour of memory. Next thing I knew after the accident I was on my bike again, disoriented, confused, and having a really hard time finding my way home. Didn't even know I had been hurt til my girlfriend freaked out when I got home.
Ended up going to the hospital, turned out I had a concussion and two small skull fractures(sinus and orbital wall). I have some air leaking into my brain case or whatever, but I guess its stable for now. Have to go back in about a week and get another round of ct scans to figure out if I need surgery. Really wish I had been wearing a helmet, but if you ride a bike, you seriously should. You post on ACF so you probably look like a dork anyway so there's really nothing to lose.
I dunno why this picture is sideways, but check out the sweet upside down cross action on my forehead. Praise satan 666

Yeah, me too. I also hope that the person that hit me and didn't stop thinks I'm dead and it haunts them for the rest of their life.

Where was the impact? I mean I know you said you face planted but did it look like you bounced around or got drug or bit a curb or was it just one big freaking whack to the pavement? Looks like you took it to one cheek mostly in the pics.

I don't really know. I don't remember the accident, my right wrist is pretty jacked up too but other than that and an abrasion on my left hand all of the damage is to my face.
