Calling this a hate crime is one of the stupidest judgments ever.

He saw his roomie kissing another guy on the webcam. Made a tweet which read as "unenthusiastic" to me, not hateful. Just more like "whoa not what I was expecting to see there".

As for the "viewing party", so what? I would bet you money that if his roomie had been straight, and the webcam set up, he would have still tried to arrange for such, and he probably would have watched a lot longer on the first webcam.

Invasion of privacy yes. Hate crime, no way. Bet he would have done the exact same thing if his roommate had been straight and making out with a girl.

Perhaps he would of had a viewing party either way but his intent would of been different.

Im betting not since he roomate knew that the gay guy had been having guy friends over. He pretty much set up the web cam to catch him being gay.

and why would he tweet about it and tell his friends to come and watch the second time if his intent wasnt to humiliate his roommate in the first place?

its really not that hard to understand but Im loving all the sympathy for the STILL alive straight guy from everyone

Yep because this kind of thing has never happened to a straight guy making out with a girl, ever ever. Every single person on the planet would totally respect that a guy was gonna have a girl over and not sneakily set up a webcam to watch and/or make fun of later. No no, clearly it ONLY happens to gays and it must be a hate crime.

Yup, but because the guy was gay it has to be called a "hate crime". If their roles had been reversed, it wouldnt have been. The gay guy would have just been called immature and it would have been left at that.

Don't you guys realize you are committing a hate crime by disagreeing with Non? Anytime you do something that a gay doesn't like its a hate crime.

Non disagrees with me all the time. That makes him guilty of a hate crime, right?
