western rpgs are so much better than jrpgs. jrpgs have the WORST combat. omfg. that and random encounters piss me the fk off. but i know that i hate jrpgs now. i used to love them. my ps1 collection is entirely jrpgs. that said, the hand held market is rife with 2d isometric jrpgs. you're either retarded or blind if you don't see that.

rife? I wouldn't exactly say rife. Pokemon is the biggest one but besides that...not much stuff out there that isn't completely kiddy and simplistic.
