During my first job I used to get "creative" a lot also. All the time. In the morning, during lunch. Lots. It helped a lot when it came to app development

I've had a drink once or twice at lunch but it was usually for a special occasion. (aka, I survived the department meeting without strangling someone). It was never enough to even buzz me though. Takes a bit more than 1 mojito for that.

Scarily enough, I knew a chick back when I was a lifeguard that would come into work high on ecstasy on occasion. A few other guards probably came in tipsy too, but if they did I never heard about it.
I've never seen or heard it here at this job, but it wouldn't surprise me if I had been on a late-night emergency conference call and someone was a few drinks in. I can't blame them in that case, though, because they were technically off-hours.
At my old job when I was younger I'd come in hung over and be fine in an hour or two, but as I got older the hangovers lasted longer so my drinking during the week has lessened and lessened. At this job I have to be a rockstar at all times so I just don't get drunk during the week at all anymore - more days than not I don't have anything, or if I do it's just a glass of wine. Lately, I haven't even been getting drunk on weekends. I can't stand being hung over any more.
