yeah i worked at tuff shed in SLC one of there crew would come into work at 6 am with about a 6 pack in him buy lunch he had an other 18 he would drink 1/2 a bottle of jack at lunch and drink another 18 pack between lunch and going home. i had a service manager at a dealership i worked at that would drink a bottle (1/2 gallon) of mouthwash and vodka mixed everyday.
geez... you would think you would get sick from drinking all that mouthwash

My brother was a lifelong alcoholic. He lost many lucrative jobs because of his addiction.
My husband and his business partner would always lunch at the chinese resturant next door with clients. At one point their running tab was in the $20k range. No one ate.

Yup. That would be me... Not so much anymore.
When I was working for the brewery I worked for I would go to the bar across the street (where there bartender had a thing for me) and would get free drinks. I would cross the street to start my shift at least 3-4 drinks i, (usually vodka redbulls) plus a shot of some mixer. When I got to work I'd drink a glass or 2 of water, and then do beer shots with the bartender. I was pretty damn good at my job, so if they ever noticed they ignored it.
Now that I'm back in an office and working at a baby store, I don't really drink as much as I used to.. Sometimes I go with my bosses at the office and we have a drink or two, but other than that, my drinking is limited to the weekends/my days off.

i work as a video/film editor for tv, and when i worked night shift one of our other "veteran" editors, a guy in his 50s who was the most creative dude I've ever met, used to drink a 6-pack a night and do a hit of Mary Jane about once an hour.
his cuts always came out amazing, he depended on the stuff to be creative.

No. Drinking to get drunk sucks. Only results in bad headaches and vomiting.

When i worked for the insurance company it wasnt uncommon to go to the pub up the road for lunch, have a few beers or glasses of wine, then go back to work. So long as you werent wasted they didnt care.
