I get drunk to pass the time when caught in traffic. Really calms me down.

I drive an hour and a half to work each day over 40 miles. It takes 45 minutes to reach mile 38, and another 45 minutes to reach mile 40. On nice days I get off the highway just before the traffic and bike the rest.

Longer than 30 minutes.
Going TO work is about 25 minutes. So once I hit the 30 minute mark (traffic/an accident is holding things up) I start to get cranky.
Coming home is only about 15ish minutes, so the only thing that annoys me are douche knockers I encounter on the way.

I get freaking ticked after about 10 minutes. I had to drive down to south Denver from where I'm at every day at rush hour to go down to the police academy 5 nights a week. On a Saturday morning, it's like 30 minutes from my house. Denver rush hour, 1 1/2-2 hours. Did that for a year. SUCKED DONKEY BALLSACS.
the best was when I would drive all the way down there only for them to tell us classes were cancelled

I would move if traffic was that bad. Thankfully anytime I am stuck in traffic I am being paid by the hour.

I think it gets easier the longer it is after a point. If I had like a 15-20 minute drive I'd be probably much more pissed constantly

hour each way is the longest i've had, it really drove me nuts though. i think the fact that it was only 15min without traffic made it much worse
