I like driving. I find it relaxing. I don't commute every day though so I guess it could get old. Running up to a client's office is like 45 minute round trip. If I time it wrong it ends up being twice that. It doesn't really bother me much though. I just roll down the windows and turn up the radio.

I would take backroads if I knew it was going to be an extra long commute, it might not be much faster, but at least its a more scenic drive than taillights and bumpers on the freeway.

I don't get pissed, there is no sense in it, there is nothing you can do to change it.

Getting pissed in the car is never a good idea. I learned early on not to.

So much this. Move or find a different job. No alternative.

Ugh. I'm commuting two hours each way until June. I have to stay on the other side of the state for days at a time, though, so I often get a hotel and just stay out there. This week is only one day, though (tomorrow), so I'll be going there and coming back after a day on my feet. Not looking forward to it.

I live close enough to work that I can go home for lunch, and have enough time to take a 15 minute nap before going back to work on time.

I went from a 1 hour commute 1 way to a 30 minute 1 way to 2 minutes 1 way... I like the 2 minutes, so that's my limit lol
