I have no sympathy for drunk drivers. I've been drunk off my ass before and the most obvious fact to me was that I was in no shape to operate a vehicle. To get behind the wheel of a car while drunk shows a complete disregard for safety.
There's levels of drunkenness though. You may have been piss-drunk but this guy may have been just slightly drunk where he thought he was okay to drive. See, those kinds of drunks are much more dangerous. The ones who underestimate their drunkenness and overestimate their ability to act sober, those are the dangerous ones.
consequences of your own actions and decisions. people need to learn to deal with it, instead of making excuses.
especially when all the deciding factors are controlled by you.

lol, I have done that too as I had lived in Clearwater, FL for a year, but apprently other states have a city called Clearwater.
