That's harsh. He didn't do it on purpose, it was still an accident.
He drank on purpose and raced on purpose. If you ever have a child you lose to a drunk driver think back to your comment here when you wish he gets locked up for the rest of his life.
Well I just think the daily beatings could be better served for a person who actually maliciously intends to harm or kill children rather than for some dumbass who just wasn't thinking and harmed one on accident.
Afterall, it's quite possible for one of us to commit manslaughter. No we may be smarter than to drink and drive, but you don't have to be drunk and racing in order to accidentally kill someone.

Pretty awful.
Although, I've raced before. Was hella fun. Wasn't drunk at the time and no one died. Was still terribly stupid, but it WAS fun.
Wonder what if anything the guy who actually hit them will get...

i think its awful, but im curious as to why it should or would be any different if he'd killed a 50 year old. the age of the person should not have any impact on this case.
